Vested Interest
I like all sorts of ladies. For models, that is. Some big, some small, some chunky, others quite trim.
I don’t get many volunteers as trim as this gal. She’s a runner and you can tell the minute she drops her clothes. But I have to say that as beautiful as she may be naked — it’s her eyes that always draw me in.
Elemental Gender
Red Hot Momma
Nude with Umbrella and Towel
I’ve been working on abstracts lately.
There are always those who would rather see blatant female exposure, but an abstract nude is nothing new.
Heels in the Air
My newest model has modeled for countless Uni art classes, so she brings a wonderful ease to the studio. I’m so accustomed to walking gently around the issue of nudity — Oh, all my models know that they’ll end up nude, but not all are equally brave or exhibitionistic.
I’m looking forward to a few shoots with her.
Smiley Faced Teens
Who doesn’t love a smiley faced teenager? A time of life when the world is still their oyster, when life’s troubles and stress have not yet overwhelmed them, and when best buds are forever — indeed, there is something magical about a teenagers’s smile.

Ethereal Illusions
What does a man think when he sees a vision in loveliness? Well, for one thing I’m not sure how much thinking goes on. I suspect that for a lot of us males there is more feeling than thinking. It’s such a trendy thing nowadays to do nudes with a blatant crotch shot and I’m not always sure I understand the value of excessively overt images.
In this case we have a beautiful woman – a real woman – not merely someone who is over 18, but someone who has lived — the evidence of that life is abundant in tattoos and if you look hard and long enough a few scars here and there.
But what we really have is a study in hesitation. A whisp, a glimmer, a hint of what stands beyond. But a gaze that speaks to a lifetime of men — and a clear knowledge they are not always what one hopes.
I’m not sure I could ever have asked my friend here to give me just precisely this expression. After numerous shoots with her she’s come to be quite at ease. But as is often the case — there is just that moment when a model’s life intrudes on the studio — when her concentration on the shot vanishes to be replaced by a memory of another time.
Those moments are worth more than all the planned shots I could ever conceive.
Thank you, Noxious K8.
Creative Lampshade
I’ve heard people say, “Put a sock in it.”
This little crinoline half-slip just seemed such a little whisp of a thing that the model plopped it over her head and struck a little attitude. I laughed so hard I almost missed the shot.
I have some friends who might never have noticed the crinoline though…..
And quite a few model friends who say their face has never been seen…..
